During the 2010 Olympics, we helped Molson Canadian launch a “make your own jersey profile picture” app on Facebook. We were able to help Molson Canadian become way more popular with this Facebook app, which allowed Canadians to change their profile pics to a personalized Team Canada jersey. Within days, the app helped boost Molson’s Facebook fanbase from about 30,000 to more than 270,000 people, the second highest for a Canadian brand.
